The foldable design makes it very flexible for packing and storage and the quality of the sound is impressive considering it is cheap, tiny speakers. These speakers go with me whenever I travel on vacation and on business. I had to get a second one because they lost my luggage one time, but I had that one for many years and it was still in good shape.
For the money, I doubt you could do better for portable speakers that pack a punch -- loudest speakers that I know of for their size. Two years of intensive fieldwork (bird song playback), and they are still going strong.
At home they work great and don't need the volume up high at all, but they just don't seem to be strong enough to cover standard car noise.oh well, won't be using them in the car, but will use them to travel, etc for my destination. In the car, however, I couldn't even tell they were on. I ordered the speakers to use in my car with my MP3 player. They are a great size, I love that they fold and they work with my MP3 with no problem. I had the MP3 volume all the way up and still could barely hear anything.
Sure there's better sounding portable speakers out there but they're larger and much more expensive. These are great little portable speakers and you can't beat them for the price. Can't go wrong with these.
I needed a small portable speaker set that would work, and these are great. I was impressed. I do a lot of presentations that have videos and recorded speech in them. The price, size, and clarity are hard to beat.
